The protection of all our clients and partner’s data is enormously important to us and we take every measure to ensure that your privacy is protected. The information that we collect
When you become a Blume client, supplier or contact, we will need to obtain your name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number. We may also ask names of family members and interests or preferences to ensure that we are providing you with a tailored service. We may also gather credit/debit card details, where payment is agreed and bank details. We will only collect and use your information where we have lawful grounds and legitimate business reasons for doing so. We will not ask for more information than we need.
How we use this information
We will be transparent in our dealings with you and will tell you how we use your information.
We collect this information for the purposes of communicating with you, for carrying out a service and for invoicing. This information will then be used by us to provide you with updates about your account and any other matter relating to you. Your personal data will be strictly confidential and will only be shared with third parties where necessary for the performance of our service or where you have provided prior consent. It is likely that we will need to share your data with some or all the following (but only where necessary): our suppliers and contractors, regulatory authorities and appropriate agencies, if requested by them.
We will keep some records permanently if we are legally required to do so. We may keep some other records for an extended period of time. In general, we will endeavour to keep data only for as long as we need it. This means that we may delete it when it is no longer needed.
If you are enquiring about a career with Blume by submitting a CV, covering letter and/or design portfolio, we will hold your documents on file for 18 months. After this time, if we have not contacted you, we will remove your data from our records.
